Gozynta Named as CRN® 2024 Stellar Startups
Rolling release beginning November 04, 2024
With Gozynta Mobius 1.14, we’re rolling out a series of updates aimed at making Mobius more secure, easier to use, and more reliable. From improved security measures to new features and bug fixes, this release is packed with enhancements based on your feedback and our commitment to top-notch performance. Here’s what’s new in Mobius 1.14.
New Features
Knowledge Base Integration: To make support and troubleshooting more accessible, we've integrated Knowledge Base articles directly into Mobius's Configuration pages. This addition allows users to quickly find guidance on various topics within the platform, supporting more efficient workflows and enhancing the user experience.
Security Improvements
As part of our commitment to high security standards, we undergo annual external audits to identify any potential vulnerabilities. Our most recent audit found a few “Low” and “Minimal” severity security issues (with no “Medium,” “High,” or “Critical” vulnerabilities). This release resolves each identified concern, ensuring Mobius remains as secure and dependable as possible.
Here’s a rundown of some specific improvements:
Enhanced Password Security: We've resolved an issue with the "Insecure Password Reset" process, further securing user accounts by reinforcing password protection.
Anti-Automation Controls: By addressing an issue with "Improper Control of Interaction Frequency," we've taken steps to prevent unauthorized automation attempts, keeping user accounts and activities protected.
Error Handling Improvements: We reduced the exposure of system information by addressing "Verbose Error Messages," further safeguarding user data.
Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Protection: We resolved a "Reflected Cross-Site Scripting" vulnerability, enhancing security for all user interactions within Mobius.
Content-Security Policy Updates: Strengthened the Content-Security-Policy header and implemented a Content-Security-Policy-Report-Only header, allowing us to better monitor security behavior while maintaining diagnostic flexibility.
Bug Fixes
We’re always listening to feedback and addressing issues to keep Mobius running smoothly. This release includes a series of fixes aimed at enhancing usability and performance:
Improved Dashboard Alerts: Payments that fail to sync back to ConnectWise are now marked as errors instead of warnings, providing more accurate and actionable alerts on the dashboard.
Dashboard Dismissals: We resolved an error that some users encountered when dismissing warnings from the dashboard, improving functionality and user experience.
Product Category Mapping: Recent changes to the QuickBooks API disrupted the ability to send nested product categories. We've restored this functionality to work seamlessly as it did before, ensuring compatibility and smooth data synchronization for users.
Code Quality and Maintenance
In this release, we've also made ongoing updates to bring our legacy code up to current standards. By enhancing the underlying codebase, we’re not only improving the reliability of Mobius but also laying the groundwork for smoother, safer future updates with reduced potential for bugs.
Looking Forward
The release of Mobius 1.14 is part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and robust security. Each update is designed to make Mobius even more resilient, user-friendly, and capable of meeting the needs of your business. We’re excited for you to experience these enhancements and look forward to your feedback!
